Wilson brings the heritage with the Pro Staff 97 V13.0 Tennis Racquet. Based on Roger Federer`s all black design, this version has some subtle red and yellow stripes as a call back to the Original Pro Staff 85. Wilson removed Countervail from the V13.0 Pro Staff in favor of a more connected to the ball feel with Braid 45 technology. By aligning the Double Braid fibers at a 45 degree angle, the Pro Staff 97 gains an enhanced pocketing feel alongside incredible stability. Another refinement for version 13.0, is the ergonomic shaped end cap which will help provide more comfort during a longer match, particularly for players who grasp the racquet lower on the grip. Though the string pattern remains 16x19, this Pro Staff 97 utilized string mapping to create a denser string alignment for greater precision and feel across the whole racquet face.The Pro Staff 97 is 11.1 ounces unstrung, but it has a very mobile and head-light balance that makes the racquet easy to whip through the hitting zone.
